Memorandum of Association
Name of the Society
The name of the Society shall be “MET VETERANS ASSOCIATION”.
Registered Office
The office of the Society shall remain in the State of Haryana and is currently located at:
3rd Floor, H Block, Commercial Complex, Vaishali Arcade,Palam Vihar, Gurugram, Haryana – 122 017
Aims and Objectives
- To promote and foster mutually beneficial interaction among retired Meteorological (MET) officers of the Indian Air Force.
- To undertake activities of nation-building, including those of charitable nature.
- To foster linkages amongst MET Veterans and promote personal and friendly relations through meetings and get-togethers.
- To facilitate and encourage MET Veterans to contribute towards the improvement of Meteorological knowledge and foster interactions with other institutions engaged in a similar vocation.
- To generate corpus funds for MET Veterans to create better residential, educational, and recreational facilities for members of the Association.
- To exchange professional knowledge, organize conferences, seminars, workshops, and training courses.
- To raise or collect funds through subscriptions, contributions, donations, loans, or any other legal means for furthering the Association’s objectives.
- To undertake all lawful activities conducive to attaining the above objectives.
Utilization of Funds
All the income, earnings, and moveable and immovable properties of the Society shall be solely utilized and applied
towards the promotion of its aims and objectives as set forth in the Memorandum of Association.
No profit shall be paid or transferred directly or indirectly by way of dividends, bonuses, or profits to any
present or past member of the Society.
No member of the Society shall have any personal claim on any moveable or immovable property of the Society
or derive any profit by virtue of his/her membership.

The names, addresses, occupations, and designations of the members of the Executive Committee to whom the management
of the Society is entrusted, as required under Section 2 of the Societies Registration Act, 1860 (as applicable to
the State of Haryana), are as follows:
